Pretty hot during the summer, with after noon rain. Winters are wonderful! Hurricane Season is something to consider! Considering last year we were threatened by four. But overall the weather is beautiful!
Military facilities~
There is everything you will need on McDill Air Force Base.
Medical~
We use private doctors and hospitals. Some people use the doctors on McDill.
Housing~
Everyone lives on the economy. Most people live good distances away from each other considering it is such a big area. We bought our house, and I strongly recommend it!
Shopping~
It has everything here!
Adult Schools~
Many Jr. Colleges, Art and Design schools, and some universities such as USF
Fun Activities~
Wow there is to many to name. Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, the beach, zoos, night clubs, etc. Also Disney, Universal, and Sea World are less than two hours away.
Additional Info~
This is just a very nice place to live. My husband, children, and I have had a wonderful time here. There is something for everyone here...Oh except for snow!!!LOL!!!
