You go through Tricare and your local Dr.
Housing~
No housing you must find your own on the economy. There are some nice areas though.
Shopping~
Not too much to choose from here. There is a Super Walmart about 10-15 min away other than that you have to drive to Houma about 30 miles to find the nearest mall. Baton Rouge 75 miles, Lafeyette 45 miles, and New Orleans which is about 60-70 miles away.
Fun Activities~
Shrimp and Petroleum Festival every Sept. with lots of food and a lot of fun.
Child Care/Schools~
Stevensville Elementary, St. Mary, Morgan City High when we were there back in 99 schools were on the school uniform policy.
Additional Info~
Morgan City can be a great place depending on what you make of it. It is very quiet. You can sometimes see gators in the summer taking a sun bath. It is very nice to get used to the food. Cajun food is awesome. I miss it just talking about it.
