Medical~
There are no MTF's around. Spouses and family pick from civilan doctors. If you get Prime Remote, you pay NOTHING out of pocket. There is one large hosptial in Salisbury, which is 30 miles from Ocean City. A smaller hosptial in Berlin, which is 5 miles from Ocean City (no birthing unit).
Housing~
There are a few lease homes available. Most just find a rental home or buy one if here long enough.
Shopping~
There are some outlets in Ocean City, and there is a BUNCH of outlets in Rehobath, DE (no sales tax in DE). About 45 mins. north of Ocean City. Very nice has a lot of stores to choose from.
Adult Schools~
Wor-Wic Community College, Salisbury University, and University of Md Eastern Shore
Fun Activities~
THE BEACH, of course. It is very busy during the summer season. There are shopping malls, parks, movie theaters, and outside concerts. Tourist attractions are open during the summer season, putt-putt etc.
