Medical~
A nice medical office. They see Active, Recruits, Dependants, and Retirees. For dependants they have normal office hours and some evening appointments. Emergency care and dental is for Active and Recruits only.

Housing~
Tracen Cape May Housing consists of 172 owned housing units and 91 barracks rooms.

Shopping~
Small Exchange on base, Acme+ Shoprite+Super Fresh grocery stores,Kmart, Peebles, JC Penny, Sears hardware & appliances, Home Depot, lots of tourist shops. For any mall shopping, Wal-Mart and BJ's you have to go to May's Landing which is up by Atlantic city. It is a 45 min to one-hour drive. It's an easy drive straight up the Garden State Parkway. All your shopping needs are in May's Landing.

Child Care/Schools~
There is a Child Development Center (CDC) on base. One high school and middle school for all of Lower Township. In housing elementary students go to Cape May City Elementary. There are lots of elementary schools for different areas. There is also a private school in Cape May called Our Lady Of The Sea.

Fun Activities~
Free Zoo, Lots of Tourist attractions, Whale & Dolphin watching boats, Cape May Lighthouse, Charter fishing trips, Cold Spring Village (19th century village and railroad), Cape May-Lewes Ferry, Wildwoods Morey Piers (amusement park), Six Flags Great Adventure (1-1/2 drive) Additional Comments: You can watch the sunrise over the ocean and sunset over the bay.
