There are numerous hospitals in the area that includes a specialty Childrens Hospital, Park Ridge, Highland Hospital, Lakeside Memorial Hospital, Strong Memorial (which includes Strongs Children Hospital) and Rochester General Hospital
Housing~
There is no housing available. You are on the economy. The great thing about that is housing is very affordable as far as buying and the market is great. There are numerous apartment complexes that are very affordable also and not to far from base.
Shopping~
There are numerous shopping areas around here. The biggest including East View Mall and MarketPlace Mall. There are stores everywhere!

Monroe Community College, Roberts and Weselyn (ranked #2 for best college in US), Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Genesseo Community College, Suny Brockport, University Of Rochester, Bryant and Statton, Nazareth College and St John Fisher College

Boating on the Lakes, Seneca Park Zoo, all outdoor activities with numerous parks

Rochester is a very busy city with many different cultures and opportunities. The people here are very helpful and full of life
