Medical~
We are on Tricare Prime Remote and use the medical facilities in Victoria, Texas.
Housing~
There are several houses in Port Lavaca about 25 miles from the station.
Shopping~
Not much if you are a city girl. There is a small mall,Target, Wal-Mart and Sams Club in Victoria, which is about 50 minutes from the station.
Fun Activities~
We enjoy going to Port Aransas Texas, they have a great beach and is more of a tourist type area. Corpus Christi is also in the area which has lots of activities. There is also six flags and sea world in San Antonio, about two hours away.
Adult Schools~
Victoria College and University of Houston at Victoria.
Additional Info~
Not much to do around here, for me it is really too hot to do outdoor activities in the summer since I am from Michigan.
Everyone either lives in Port Lavaca or Victoria since Port O'Connor is small and is a popular fishing area with lots of privately owned condo's.
