Weather~
Summers- Hot and humid. 80's and 90's and usually pretty dry.
Winters- Not too bad. Mostly 40's. Doesn't snow a whole lot.
Military facilities~
Navy bases on every corner!
Medical~
We go to the Tricare Prime Clinic in Virginia Beach. There is also clinics on the Navy bases as well as Portsmouth Naval Hospital for specialty care.
Housing~
Most people live on the economy. We do!
Shopping~
Everything you need and more! There are literally like 5 malls within reasonable driving distance, Target, WalMart, KMart, everything!
Adult Schools~
Tidewater Community College, Thomas Nelson Community College, ODU, the list goes on...
Fun Activities~
There is so much to do! Especially if you are in to history. Tons of museums, the beach, nightlife, restaurants...
