Weather~
Sizzlen Hot Summers...Mild Winters. Most would describe it as a "Dry Heat" because there is no humidity. Monsoon season brings heavy rains and dust storms. The landscape is Desert. BUT everything is landscaped. They have created man made lakes everywhere.
Shopping~
Phoenix brings a whole new meaning to Shopping. After living there for a few years it was hard for any other place to even compare to what Phoenix offers as far as shopping goes. Phoenix is like Los Angeles. Everything you could possibly want is there. They have the trendiest places to shop. Arizona Mills , Fashion Square Mall, Chandler Fashion Center, The Great Indoors, Targets....gosh they're EVERYWHERE! If the store is new it'll be here. The place is growing...growing...growing...there are places you'll find and wonder to yourself...how did live without these stores before now? There is a really nice Scrapbook store in Gilbert called Memory Lane...these are the same gals who created the "Designing With..." books that are very popular right now.
Fun Activities~
Tubing on the Salt River is fun. Many concerts. If you like Music...this place has concert after concert. Montis a very popular place to have a steak. Anything on Mill Ave in Tempe is fun. As for sports...you have the Phoenix Suns...Phoenix Coyotes...and the AZ Cardinals. You will not be bored here...you have my word.
