None in Fort Lauderdale but it's a short drive to Sector Miami or Opa Locka Air Station where exchanges are located.

PCM is a civilian doctor
Housing~
Everyone lives on the economy. Unmarried Coasties are eligible to move out of the station and collect BAH once they are qualified.
Shopping~
There is tons of shopping. Publix grocery stores are on every block! There are also quite a few malls in the area as well as numerous Walmarts, Targets, Costco etc.
Child Care/Schools~
Schools are better in Broward County than Miami Dade. South Broward is a less desirable area for schools as well.
Adult Schools~
Broward Community College and Nova Southeastern University are the two big schools in the area.
Fun Activities~
Beach, Hollywood Broadwalk, West Lake Park with canoeing & fishing, John U Lloyd State Park (where the station is located), snorkeling and boating trips.
Additional Info~
This area is congested with a lot of traffic but if you can look past it you'll enjoy your time here! It's a beautiful area with a lot of diversity. There is a ton to do if you like to go out and enjoy nightlife, if not there are parks and great spots to spend time with your family.
