We definitely have all 4 seasons. It generally begins snowing in mid-December and continues until March. Average winter temperature is 23 degrees. Average temperature in the summer is 84.

ISC Cleveland, MSO Cleveland, Station Cleveland Harbor, Cutter Neah Bay. Closest DOD facilities are 3 hours away.

Medical~
Tricare Prime - Cleveland Clinic is the prime provider for the area. Lots of hospitals and satellite clinics available.

Housing~
No government owned quarters and a very limited lease program. Most rent or purchase on their own.

Shopping~
No commissary. Small exchange in the federal building and another slightly larger exchange by the airport. All major retailers are represented in the area. We have over 26 shopping malls within 3 counties.

Adult Schools~
Plenty of educational opportunities. There are 11 college and universities within commuting distance of downtown Cleveland.

Fun Activities~
Cedar Point Amusement Park and Geauga Lake Amusement Park as well as 3 indoor water parks are all within a 90 minute drive.
Cleveland is home to numerous museums and a zoo that includes an Australia exhibit and rainforest.

Additional Info~
No spouse clubs in the area. Families are very spread out and live up to 1 1/2 commute away. Members using the Regional Transit system in Cuyahoga county are given a free transit pass each month. Parking downtown ranges from $3.00 to $15.00 per day if you are not assigned one of the limited slots in either the Federal Building or at the Station/MSO.
