perfect!! hot and humid in the summer...very mild winters, and sometimes you get a fall and spring!!!
Military facilities~
Sector Charleston, MLE Academy, NWS, Naval Hosp, and Charleston AFB
Medical~
the navy restricts prime patients to their docs, or you can opt for standard.
Housing~
in the process of becoming privatized....you can get a nice home in a nice area within the BAH
Shopping~
all kinds....i personally liked the shopping in Mt. Pleasant the best.
Adult Schools~
College of Charleston, the Citadel, Charleston Southern, Trident Tech, Medical University of SC
Fun Activities~
any and everything you can think of, beaches are Isle of Palms and Folly....several public parks with waterslides, just any and everything....lots and lots of things to do and see....including the historical downtown area!
Additional Info~
As a Carolina Girl born and raised in the area...I am very partial to Charleston...Even with the lack of good school....I would move back there tomorrow if given the opportunity!!
